OpenSpace events follow a very small set of rules that allow people to interact with each other in a creative and productive way. Sessions are decided by the attendees when the event first starts, and are encouraged to move to a different session if they feel they are not getting enough out of their current session.

Trifecta presents: “Using Creativity & Innovation in Research”, a forum by Karl Gude

Karl Gude is currently Graphics Editor-in-Residence at Michigan State University. Prior to coming to MSU a short time ago, Karl spent almost 30 years creating information graphics for various news organizations including Newsweek magazine and the Associated Press, where he served as their Director of Information Graphics. His job was to visually explain a variety of topics for readers ranging from medical, technological and scientific breakthroughs to breaking news and business stories.

Trifecta is a research initiative launched by MSU’s Colleges of Communication Arts and Sciences, Engineering, and Nursing. The mission of Trifecta research collaborations is to reduce health disparities by developing applied innovations that improve health outcomes and the organization and delivery of health services to underserved communities through new communication and engineering technologies.
