ABOUT THE CLASS
In CAS 206 we learn how to create vector artwork and digital illustrations for media projects using Adobe Illustrator.
The course covers creating photo-accurate graphics, harnessing the power of live trace, designing type-based art for graphics or animation on the web, as well as creating 3D scenes.
CAS 206 goes beyond designing artwork to working in production and preparing files, such as stationery and packaging, to print.
There are weekly assignments and one final project.
1 credit course.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Maral Minassian worked as a self-employed web and graphic designer, taking on projects such as information architecture and website design for Loyola Marymount University’s various divisions, among many others.
